Recipe: Spicy Chicken and Rice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 lb of chicken breast, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of ginger
- Assorted spices (such as paprika, cumin, coriander)
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the diced chicken breast to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides.
4. Season the chicken with salt, ginger, and your choice of assorted spices. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
5. Add the diced bell pepper to the skillet and continue to cook for a few more minutes.
6. In a separate pot, cook the rice according to package instructions.
7. Once the rice is cooked, add it to the skillet with the chicken and vegetables. Mix everything together and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
9. Serve the spicy chicken and rice hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
