Recipe: Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken strips in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the marinated chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
5. In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed and sauté the bell peppers, onion, garlic, and ginger until vegetables are tender-crisp.
6. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve the teriyaki chicken stir fry over cooked white rice.
9. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
