Rice, Chicken, Onion
Chicken Biryani
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Biryani Rice
- 2 cups diced Chicken
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons Curry Powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Coriander
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 cups Water
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and sauté until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the curry powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and garam masala and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
5. Add the biryani rice and stir to combine.
6. Add the water and bring to a boil.
7. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
8. Remove from the heat and let stand for 10 minutes.
9. Fluff the biryani with a fork and season with salt and pepper to taste.
10. Serve hot. Enjoy!
