Rice, Onion, Garlic
Vegetable Biriyani
Ingredients:
2 cups of Biriyani Rice
1 Onion, diced
3 cloves of Garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 teaspoon of Turmeric
1 teaspoon of Cumin
1 teaspoon of Coriander
1 cup of Vegetables (such as carrots, peas, and bell peppers), diced
1 cup of Water
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the turmeric, cumin, and coriander and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the diced vegetables and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Add the Biriyani Rice and stir to combine.
6. Add the water and bring to a boil.
7. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
8. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
9. Fluff the rice with a fork and season with salt and pepper to taste.
10. Serve hot. Enjoy!
