- 1 cup of rice
- 2 cups of water
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
Step by Step Guide:
1. Rinse the rice under cold water to remove any excess starch.
2. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
3. Once the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan with a lid. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed.
4. In a separate saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Stir occasionally to prevent it from scorching.
5. Once the rice is cooked, add the simmering milk to the saucepan with the rice. Stir well to combine.
