Make Ricotta Stuffed Shells

Recipe Name: Ricotta Stuffed Shells

Ingredients:
- 1 box of jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups of ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups of marinara sauce
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

4. Spoon the ricotta mixture into each cooked pasta shell, filling them generously.

5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Place the stuffed shells in the dish in a single layer.

6. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, covering them completely.

7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the shells.

8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Serve the ricotta stuffed shells hot, garnished with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Enjoy your delicious and comforting meal!
