Salsa Burger Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Sliced cheese (optional)
- Sliced avocado (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, bell pepper, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, salsa, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make sure to press the patties firmly, so they hold their shape during cooking.
3. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. If using a stovetop grill pan, lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil to prevent sticking.
4. Place the burger patties on the preheated grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
5. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a cooked burger patty, tomato slices, and any additional toppings you desire, such as sliced avocado.
7. Finish by placing the top half of the bun on each burger. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Salsa Burgers!
Note: Feel free to customize your Salsa Burgers by adding other toppings like pickles, onions, or your favorite condiments.
