Salt Water Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the warm water and olive oil.
3. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
6. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a round loaf.
8. Place the loaf on a greased baking sheet and let it rise for an additional 30 minutes.
9. Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until it is golden brown.
10. Let the bread cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
