Make Sausage and Mushroom Polenta
Sausage and Mushroom Polenta
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup polenta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the mushrooms and garlic and cook until the mushrooms are softened, about 3 minutes.
3. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
4. Reduce the heat to low and slowly stir in the polenta.
5. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the polenta is thick and creamy, about 10 minutes.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve hot. Enjoy!
