Make Sausage and Rice Casserole
Sausage and Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat until browned.
3. Add the uncooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine.
4. Add the frozen peas and carrots and stir to combine.
5. Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and bring to a boil.
6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
8. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.
9. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Serve hot. Enjoy!
