Recipe Name: Sausage and Rice Skillet
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 4 sausages, sliced
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
3. Add the sliced sausages to the skillet and cook until they are browned on all sides.
4. Stir in the rice and salt, making sure the rice is well coated in the oil and flavors.
5. Pour in 2 cups of water and bring the mixture to a boil.
6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet with a lid, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
7. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and serve hot.
