Shepherd's Pie
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 lb of minced meat
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and bring to a boil. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced meat and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
4. Drain potatoes and return to pot. Mash potatoes until smooth.
5. Add cooked minced meat, remaining teaspoon of salt, and ketchup to mashed potatoes. Stir until combined.
6. Transfer mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
7. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
8. Serve warm. Enjoy!
