Make Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya
Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya
Ingredients:
-1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
-1 lb. chicken breast, cut into cubes
-1 lb. sausage, sliced
-2 cups uncooked white rice
-4 cloves garlic, minced
-4 cups chicken broth
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-1 teaspoon paprika
-1 teaspoon oregano
-1 teaspoon thyme
-Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add the sausage and cook until lightly browned.
3. Add the chicken and cook until no longer pink.
4. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
5. Add the rice, chicken broth, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover.
7. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Add the shrimp and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the shrimp are cooked through.
9. Serve hot. Enjoy!
