Make Shrimp and Sausage Ramen Stir Fry
Shrimp and Sausage Ramen Stir Fry
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 packs of ramen noodles
- 2 eggs
- 1 beef bullion cube
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 udon noodle pack
- 1 andouille chicken sausage, sliced
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp chili oil
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 star anise
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp corn starch
Instructions:
1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the almond milk, oyster sauce, soy sauce, cayenne, Chinese five spice powder, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, nutmeg, star anise, and cinnamon.
5. In the skillet, add the butter and chili oil. Add the julienned carrots and cook until slightly softened.
6. Add the cooked ramen noodles, udon noodles, and shrimp back to the skillet. Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss to combine.
7. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and pour over the noodle mixture. Stir continuously until the eggs are cooked and well incorporated.
8. In a small bowl, mix corn starch with a little water to create a slurry. Pour into the skillet to thicken the sauce.
