Spaghetti with Basil and Scallops

Ingredients:

- 8 ounces of spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 cup of chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 pound of scallops
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the scallops are golden brown and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.

3. Drain the spaghetti and return it to the pot. Add the cooked scallops and chopped basil. Toss to combine.

4. Serve the spaghetti with basil and scallops warm, with additional freshly ground black pepper, if desired. Enjoy!
