Make Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya
Recipe Name: Spicy Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of rice
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup of oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1 pound of chicken, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned.
2. Add the diced tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
3. Stir in the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 5 minutes.
4. In a separate pot, cook the rice according to package instructions.
5. In a small bowl, beat the eggs and scramble them in a separate pan.
6. Once the rice is cooked, add it to the pot with the chicken, tomatoes, and shrimp.
7. Stir in the scrambled eggs and mix well.
8. Season with salt and chili powder, adjusting to taste.
9. Add the butter and stir until melted and well incorporated.
