Make Spicy Chicken Fried Rice
Recipe Name: Spicy Chicken Fried Rice
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
2. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.
4. Add the minced ginger and garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
5. Push the ginger and garlic to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs into the empty side. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
6. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the eggs, ginger, and garlic.
7. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
8. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and mix everything together.
9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.
10. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
