Make Spicy Chicken Pickle Curry
Recipe Name: Spicy Chicken Pickle Curry
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken, cut into small pieces
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup pickles, chopped
- 1 cup curd
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, chilli powder, and minced garlic. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
2. Heat some oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Saute until they turn translucent.
3. Add the marinated chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are browned on all sides.
4. Stir in the chopped pickles and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Pour in the curd and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper according to your taste.
7. Once the chicken is cooked through and the curry has thickened, remove from heat.
8. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
