Recipe: Spicy Pepper Pasta
Ingredients:
- 8 oz pasta of your choice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced red and yellow bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they start to soften.
4. Season the peppers with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir well to combine.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is coated with the pepper mixture.
6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the pasta through.
7. Serve the spicy pepper pasta hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
