Make Sri Lankan Style BBQ Chicken

Recipe: Sri Lankan Style BBQ Chicken

Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons Sri Lankan curry powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
- Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, Sri Lankan curry powder, chili powder, paprika, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, salt, pepper, and lime juice.
2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, making sure each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight for the flavors to develop.
3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice charred exterior.
5. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and place it on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
6. Serve the Sri Lankan style BBQ chicken hot with your favorite side dishes. Enjoy!
