Steakhouse Feast
Ingredients:
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Mashed potatoes (store-bought or homemade)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over high heat.
2. Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
3. Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if desired.
4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. Add the trimmed asparagus to the pan and cook until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
6. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and honey. Drizzle this mixture over the asparagus and toss to coat.
7. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
8. Serve the sliced ribeye steaks with the balsamic asparagus, mashed potatoes, and garnish with fresh parsley.
