Cyanide Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cyanide
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheets.

2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, and cyanide until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Gradually blend in dry ingredients. Stir in nuts, if desired.

4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.

5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
