Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup butter, softened
-1 cup sugar
-2 eggs
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-1/2 cup cocoa powder
-1 cup cake powder
-1 cup milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, cake powder, and milk.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix until just combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
7. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
