Make Sweet and Sour Onion Rings
Recipe Name: Sweet and Sour Onion Rings
Ingredients:
- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup cornstarch (maicena)
- 1/4 cup vinegar (vinagre)
- 2 tablespoons honey (miel)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch with a pinch of salt and pepper. Dredge the onion rings in the cornstarch mixture, making sure they are well coated.
2. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated onion rings in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
3. In a separate small saucepan, combine the vinegar and honey. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until the honey is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
4. Once the onion rings are all fried and the sweet and sour sauce is ready, drizzle the sauce over the onion rings. Toss gently to coat the rings evenly with the sauce.
5. Serve the sweet and sour onion rings hot as a delicious appetizer or snack. Enjoy the crispy texture and the sweet and tangy flavor!
Enjoy your Sweet and Sour Onion Rings!
