Make Tarte aux Lardons et Chèvre
Tarte aux Lardons et Chèvre
Ingredients:
- 8 feuilles de brick
- 4 ounces of lardons
- 8 ounces of chèvre
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the lardons and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Remove the lardons from the skillet and set aside.
4. Line a 9-inch tart pan with the feuilles de brick, pressing them into the sides and bottom of the pan.
5. Spread the lardons over the bottom of the tart pan.
6. Crumble the chèvre over the lardons.
7. Sprinkle the thyme over the chèvre.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
9. Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
