Make Tarte aux Lardons et Gruyère
Tarte aux Lardons et Gruyère
Ingredients:
- 8 feuilles de bricks
- 2 tablespoons of lardons
- 1/2 cup of grated Gruyère cheese
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Grease a 9-inch pie plate with butter.
3. Place 4 of the feuilles de bricks on the bottom of the pie plate.
4. Spread the lardons over the feuilles de bricks.
5. Sprinkle the Gruyère cheese over the lardons.
6. Place the remaining 4 feuilles de bricks on top of the cheese.
7. Pour the heavy cream over the feuilles de bricks.
8. Dot the top with butter.
9. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
11. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
