Make Tavuk Pilav (Chicken Pilaf)
Recipe Name: Tavuk Pilav (Chicken Pilaf)
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water or chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, sauté until they are soft and translucent.
3. Add the diced chicken to the skillet, season with salt and cook until the chicken is browned on all sides.
4. Stir in the rice and cook for a few minutes until the rice is coated with the oil and slightly toasted.
5. Pour in the water or chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
6. Once the pilaf is cooked, fluff it with a fork and let it sit covered for a few minutes before serving.
7. Serve the Tavuk Pilav hot and enjoy!
