Teriyaki Flank Steak with Rice and Vegetables
Ingredients:
-1 lb flank steak
-1/2 cup teriyaki marinade
-1 cup uncooked white rice
-1/2 cup green beans
-1/2 cup diced onion
-1/2 cup diced carrot
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Place the flank steak in a shallow dish and pour the teriyaki marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
2. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and carrot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the green beans and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
5. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
6. Add the flank steak to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
7. Remove the steak from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
8. To assemble the dish, divide the cooked rice among four plates. Top each plate with a portion of the cooked vegetables, followed by a portion of the sliced flank steak.
9. Serve with additional teriyaki sauce, if desired. Enjoy!
