Make Tomato and Garlic Pasta
Tomato and Garlic Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 red onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the red onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
3. Add the tomatoes, salt, and pepper and cook until the tomatoes are softened, about 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
5. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions.
6. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add it to the skillet with the tomato mixture.
7. Add the water and stir to combine.
8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
9. Serve warm. Enjoy!
