Make Tomato and Garlic Rice

Recipe Name: Tomato and Garlic Rice

Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste

Instructions:
1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain and set aside.
2. In a medium saucepan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
3. Add the diced tomato to the saucepan and cook until it starts to break down and release its juices.
4. Add the rinsed rice to the saucepan and stir to combine with the tomato mixture.
5. Pour in enough water to cover the rice by about an inch. Season with salt to taste.
6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a lid, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked through and the liquid is absorbed.
