Make Tomato Rice

Recipe Name: Tomato Rice

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cooked rice
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of red chili powder (adjust according to your preference)
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.

2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until the onions turn translucent and garlic becomes fragrant.

3. Add diced tomatoes to the pan and cook until they become soft and mushy. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

4. Once the tomatoes are cooked, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to combine all the spices with the tomato mixture.

5. Cook the tomato mixture for a few minutes until the oil starts to separate from the sides.

6. Add the cooked rice to the pan and gently mix it with the tomato mixture. Make sure all the rice grains are coated with the tomato mixture evenly.

7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the tomato rice cook for about 5-7 minutes. This will allow the flavors to blend together.

8. After 5-7 minutes, turn off the heat and let the tomato rice sit covered for another 5 minutes. This will help the rice absorb the flavors.

9. Once done, fluff the rice with a fork and transfer it to a serving dish.

10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
