Tuna and Tomato Pasta
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 2 cups of uncooked pasta
- 2 cups of diced tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
3. Add the tuna and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add the tomatoes, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
6. Serve warm and enjoy!
