Vanilla Brown Sugar Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and brown sugar.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and vanilla extract.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
5. Pour the melted butter into the batter and mix until combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
