Recipe Name: Veg Momos
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup finely chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, etc.)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step by Step Guide:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and water to make a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the finely chopped vegetables, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oil, salt, and pepper.
3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin circle.
4. Place a spoonful of the vegetable mixture in the center of each circle.
5. Fold the edges of the circle to form pleats and seal the momo.
6. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
7. Steam the momos in a steamer for about 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
8. Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
