Make Vegetable and Ham Casserole
Recipe Name: Vegetable and Ham Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 sárgarépa (carrot), diced
- 1 karfiol (cauliflower), cut into florets
- 1 paprika (bell pepper), diced
- 1 cup zöldborsó (green peas)
- 1 cup bab (beans), cooked
- 1 cup sajt (cheese), grated
- 200g sonka (ham), diced
- 1 cup rizs (rice)
- 1/2 cup köles (quinoa)
- 1 hagyma (onion), chopped
- 1 cup bor kukorica (corn)
- 1 cup paradicsom püré (tomato puree)
- 2 cloves of fokhagyma (garlic), minced
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. In a large skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
3. Add the carrot, bell pepper, cauliflower, green peas, and corn. Cook for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender.
4. Stir in the cooked beans and ham, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Add the rice and quinoa to the skillet and mix well.
6. Pour in the tomato puree and season with salt. Cook for another 5 minutes.
7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
8. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious vegetable and ham casserole!
