Make Whole Wheat Focaccia



Whole Wheat Focaccia

Ingredients:

- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, whisk together the wheat flour and salt.

2. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the warm water and olive oil.

3. Using a wooden spoon, mix the ingredients together until a dough forms.

4. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.

5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

6. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

7. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick.

8. Transfer the dough to a lightly greased baking sheet and press your fingers into the dough to make indentations.

9. Bake the focaccia for 20-25 minutes, or until it is golden brown.

10. Let the focaccia cool before serving. Enjoy!
